My name is Alan and I’m a creator, Scottish originally but now living in Leeds, West Yorkshire. As well as Rough Sawn Wood Crafts, my woodworking and laser engraving website, shop and Etsy store, I also have two other creative outlets, 3D printing and digital art. Rough Sawn Wood Crafts is my channel for all my woodworking and laser engraving projects.
I make custom limited and one-off woodworking projects that include home decor, small tables, wall art and personalised kitchen items such as cutting boards, charcuterie boards and trivets.
I also provide laser engraved personalised pre-made items such as slate and cork coasters, and bamboo cutting boards – ideal for budget friendly gifts for friends and loved ones.
I pride myself on creating truly unique and often bespoke and personalised items, both to sell through my Etsy sales channel, but also to stock in several local shops. I also provide a custom design and print service for anyone with unusual requirements, such as broken parts, hard to find pieces or simply gadgets and products to make life easier.
I create digital and traditional artwork using a range of media including watercolours, ink, pencil and now digitally using professional grade graphics equipment.
